About the Lessons

LESSONS OFFERED: Guitar, Electric Bass, Ukulele

All students are taught one-on-one at their own individual pace. Tyler teaches all ages and caters to the learning style of the student, focusing on what they desire to learn. He tailors his instruction according to how the student will be using their skills, whether the student is learning for personal enjoyment at home, professional performance, playing at church, etc.

Tyler teaches nearly all genres of music. He teaches playing technique as well as music theory. He always attempts to teach the student how to play a tune as quickly as possible in order to develop a deep passion for music from the beginning. What matters most is the student’s personal enjoyment.

Lessons are 30 minutes in length and are held in person at American Music USA, or via video messaging through various platforms such as Skype, FaceTime, or Zoom. Most learning materials will be provided, but the student will be informed if additional materials must be purchased. 

For children taking lessons, parents are more than welcome to sit in on the session. They can also wait in the lobby or run errands if needed.
